The Magic Roundabout goes online!

The Magic Roundabout goes online on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2020 from 3-6 pm! The Spring Bank Holiday Magic Roundabout at Kington Langley is always our busiest event of the year. Clearly this year, things will have to be different, although parking still won’t be an issue there won’t be any soup, and hugging will have to be virtual unfortunately. Instead, we offer you all an “online milonga”. What does this mean? Well, if you’re lucky to have someone to dance with and a place to dance, you can do that. In fact we positively encourage it. But if not, well, Bärbel will play you three hours of tangos, milongas and valses arranged in tandas of three via the Zoom app. It’s a video conferencing platform so you will be able to see your friends and message them privately during the milonga, or message everyone at once. We invite you to suggest tango songs you would like to hear as the milonga happens and Bärbel will make tandas including them. Don’t forget, it’s the Magic Roundabout, not Tango Jazz Fusion hour, so keep your suggestions traditional and danceable 🙂 You can register to attend using this link:- https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYvd-6qrTkvEtyBMDZBphaQwb7jrO9yoaZuThere is a maximum limit of 100 people including ourselves. You can also join the facebook event here. The event is free but donations will be welcome via paypal.me/magicroundabout
